Hi, I'm Hannah, a product
designer based in Seattle.
Art came first. I've been painting for as long as I can remember. Painting taught me what I use everyday: sit with something long enough to see it properly. You put down a mark, you step back, you realize that something is in the wrong place, you do it again.
To me, design works the same way. Research is the same act of looking closely, just at people instead of a still life. I take the craft as seriously as the thinking. A screen can do everything it's supposed to and still feel like nobody cared, and people pick up on that immediately.
